Implantation Process for Mini Implants

Consultation

Step #1

At your initial appointment, you’ll receive full mouth X-rays as part of your consultation, which will help us design a treatment plan specifically tailored to you. We’ll also present any and all financing options that are available to you and answer any questions or concerns you may have to put your mind at ease.

Treatment

Step #2

Once your treatment plan is agreed upon, we may need to prepare by extracting teeth or treating you for other dental conditions, as your jaw and gums must be strong enough to support your new implants. Every case is different, and our personalized approach will give you the smile you deserve.

Brand New Smile

Step #3

Your new tooth or teeth are mounted immediately following implantation and are assessed to make sure they are a perfect fit. Most patients who arrive for their treatment with missing teeth leave the office with a brand new smile in just one appointment.

Post Procedure

Step #4

After your procedure, you may feel some mild pain or discomfort. However, since your teeth are mounted before you leave our office, you can eat using your new teeth as soon as you’re comfortable. Oftentimes patients feel well enough to resume all normal activities within one to two days after their appointment.

Similarly to traditional implants, mini dental implants historically have a very high success rate, upwards of 95%, while lasting many years.

When planned and placed by a highly trained mini implatologist, mini dental implants have proven to be a long-term and reliable solution to missing teeth and loose dentures for patients around the world.
